Looking for a new flatmate to share the tenancy of my Maryhill flat in the North-West of Glasgow. Rent is £700 monthly split between us, Council Tax is Band B, Bills including power/gas/internet come to around £120/month. Deposit is £500 (each - I'll be resubmitting mine) which is returnable at end of rental period.
Been living here two years now and it's a nice flat in a quiet street, mostly families with kids. Ten minute walk from Summerston/Gilshochill train stations that go direct to Queen St Station, or ten mins to bus stop with several regular services into town also.
The flat is a top-level residence above another flat, so it is accessible only by a set of 10+ stairs. Noise levels in the area are good and have never had to complain to a neighbour about anything. The flat is carpeted (bit old but I give it a deep shampoo clean yearly), has recently had an entire new bathroom installed which is exciting if you love bathrooms, a reliable gas cooker with fan oven, new washing machine, fridge freezer, and plenty of storage options (two storage cupboards, a double sliding door wardrobe in each room and an attic loft space). The bedroom you would be occupying has a divan double bed, wardrobe and view into the back garden. My desk is currently in there which you are free to use if you wish or this can be removed for extra space. The property is very secure with a heavy front door, two locks including a deadbolt, and a latch. Any further questions of course I'm happy to answer.
The landlord is ideally looking for someone to move in as soon as possible as the tenancy is on a rolling monthly basis. This also means that you only need to give a month's notice if you want to move out. It is managed by a lettings agent for a private landlord, with the agents being helpful and communicative.
I'm quite tidy myself so ideally looking for someone who is content to look after themselves and shared spaces, with mutual consideration of needs and all that good stuff. I'm a cisgender pansexual guy, have lived with all sorts of people and have no preference in regards to gender, etc., as long as you're nice. 😊
