Looking for a student to sign a flat contract. The contract will renew on the 15th December and the length is 1 year (15 dec 2024-15 dec 2025) , the move in date would be after the 15th (16th onwards). This is a room in a 2bed garden (basement) flat.
The old tenant have to urgently move so they have left almost all of their stuff within the flat. So please keep in mind that the flat is quite messy.
It is furnished. There is a medium shelf, desk, foldable table, a small couch and a single bed.
One condition is to bulk buy the items left by the old tenant with a price of £800
The items include:
- 2 bicycles
- 1 fridge
- Computer HP M24f22 22 inch, (CPU x64 3.70GHz, 16GB RAM, 1.2TB SDD+authentic Windows11 and MS office),
- 1 wireless color printer and 2 black printers,
- 1 25L/24h dehumidifier (£170),
- 1 foldable massage bed,
- 1 high-quality massage mattress, massage accessories set,
- 1 spring mattress,
- 1 double-size mattress topper,
- 2 duvet sets+blankets+throws,
- 1 fan, 1 air purifier
- 1 guitar,
- 1 microwave,
- 1 2L air fryer
- Bed
- Some kitchenware including pots and pans
- Some bowls and mugs and plates
- Asian seasoning packets and sauces
There’s basically everything u need to live here you just need to bring yourself and your clothes 🙂
Prime Location: very close to Glasgow Uni (QMU, JMSLH, ect.), Byres road close to shops & 4 supermarkets (Waitrose, M&S, Tesco Express, Iceland)

⁃ very spacious room (2.5x student standard room), tenancy deposit £300 +miraculously cheap monthly rent of £330, EXCLUDING ENERGY AND WIFI BILLS (no council tax in case of student exemption). This was the rent and deposit from last year but it will most likely increase by 10% we are still waiting for the landlord’s confirmation. So rent will be around £363 and deposit would also be the same so £363
- Internet and bills are shared with another flatmate.
⁃ shared flat with one Chinese male 28-y PhD student
⁃ there are also a newly-furnished kitchen (including electric stove, two new cooker hoods, two fridges, one freezer, and all necessary kitchen appliances and cooking utensils), a separate small room (for stuff stockings), two spacious built-in cupboards outside bedrooms, etc.
⁃ the flat is 2-min walk to the nearest bus stops on the great western road, 4-min walk to Glasgow Botanics garden, 7-min walk to Hillhead subway station or JMSLH/QMU, etc.
The flat is a basement/garden flat but as you can see in the photo it does have a large window. Also no living room but there’s a spare storage room.
Preferably looking for someone who will be able to buy all the things left behind (which I can always resell) :)
