Description
Spacious double bedroom in a two-bedroom modern flat, well connected and really close to amenities. The flat is located on the third floor of a big apartment complex with lift, garage and secure entrance.
The room is complete with double bed, big desk and a spacious built-in mirrored wardrobe, but there is an option to bring in own furniture as the flat was originally unfurnished.
I have been living here since April 2023 and I can vouch for the responsiveness of the agency.
I am a professional, working on hybrid schedule, as well as vegan/LGBTQ.
I would prefer sharing the flat with a veggie/vegan & LGBTQ person, but these are not essential criteria so long as you are CLEAN and MINDFUL of shared areas. Sorry, no couples or students.
The flat is in a fantastic location, really close to Exhibition Centre and Charing Cross, but within walking distance from Glasgow University (where I work), Kelvingrove park, and City Centre. I personally walk almost everywhere, even on a night out!
There is a Lidl basically downstairs which is a big plus in an otherwise expensive groceries area. Also, a balcony which despite facing a concrete jungle (Skypark) is a great addition and makes the living room bright and airy.
There is no central heating but we have electric heaters and a washer/dryer - which keep the flat nice and dry during the cold months.
The available bedroom is £450, council tax £110 per person (band D) and bills come down to around £80 per month p/p, including fast broadband and Netflix.
It is available from 20th June (flexible, with possibility of an earlier move-in).
Please do reach out if you’re interested and tell me a little bit about yourself. I expect a lot of interest on this listing, so an introduction will ensure your application jumps to the top!

If you’ve reached this point, you’ve earned (?) a bit about me. I am a social, active person who loves exercising and going for long walks. Over the weekend I tend to go out - café hopping, reading, hiking, or seeing concerts. During the week I tend to be a bit more routine-oriented, between work, gym and enjoying dinner while watching tv. As I am quite social outside the house, I prefer keeping to myself in the house, but I always welcome a spontaneous catch-up with flatmates over a cuppa, or perhaps a movie night. I am very tidy and value cleanliness in shared areas a lot. I am looking for a flatmate with similar values (big plus if also queer & veggie), and who preferably doesn’t work from home full-time as I fear the flat would feel a bit tight - I work from home 2 to 3 days a week. Thank you for reading!
