Bright Double Room in Kelvinbridge

This lovely and bright double room will be available from the 22 July.

The flat is on the top floor of a tenement building just off Great Western Road. The location is very convenient, 10 min walk to the Glasgow Uni Union, 5 min walk to Kelvinbridge Subway, ample bus stops nearby, and a free parking space if you’ve got a car. The available room gets lots of afternoon and evening light (beautiful sunset views!) and comes fully furnished.

There’s also a shared lounge/dining room, bathroom with a tub and skylight, and kitchen.

You’ll be sharing with me, Charlotte! I’ve been living in Glasgow for the last two years working full time in hospitality. This September I’ll be starting a masters degree at the University of Glasgow. I am quite interested in music and community radio, so when I’m not working or in the flat I’m probably at a gig, hosting my radio show on Subcity, or volunteering as a producer at Radio Buena Vida. I also love all things crafty (I’m a keen knitter), traveling, art, baking, old man pubs, etc.

I am very clean and tidy and value having a well-looked-after space, so ideally that will be important to you too. I am a social and friendly person and am happy to be pals with my flatmate, though I also appreciate and respect the need for privacy.

Rent is £600 per month, council tax is £110 each, utilities are about £63 each, and wifi is £13.50 each.

Just a note about council tax: I’ll be exempt as a student, so living with a fellow postgrad student would be ideal. Non-students are welcome too, just be aware that you’ll be responsible for the council tax.
