The Flat🏰

The flat is privately owned. It came beautiful already, but we’re in the process of redecorating to make it our own. Some things will still be happening when you move in, but that means fresh paint, new furniture, and everything working very well!

It’s the top floor in a modern tenement building with a clean, well-kept stairwell and friendly neighbours mostly around our age. The flat gets lots of light and is very spacious, with a large entry hall and equally-sized bedrooms. Your room will come with a bed, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.

The Area🌳

The flat is right off Dumbarton Road on the Byres end of Partick, a road away from Glasgow Uni or a subway from Strathclyde and Caledonian. It’s a safe and lively area, filled with nice cafes, pubs and restaurants and lots of independent shops. The building is tucked around a corner, giving privacy from the bustle.

Us💃🏼🕺🏻

You would be living with me and my boyfriend Joe, and a fourth person later on.

I’m 25, I’m at Glasgow Uni doing my postgrad to become an English teacher🤓 I play volleyball and really love horses, musical theatre, and reading and writing.

Joe is 20 and in his second year at Strathclyde for Product Design Engineering. He’s a hardcore rock climber, and also enjoys gaming and playing guitar/violin.

This is not a party flat. Friends and gatherings are welcome, but this is a very chill and homey place🧘🏼‍♀️ We expect our flatmates to be clean and tidy, as well as responsive and on top of things.

Additionally, we’re looking for nesting-types, who are home regularly. I get anxious around being alone at night, so we’re not looking for people who travel a lot or work night shifts😌
