Female flatmate wanted for Minimum 12 month term

Hi I’m Katie! I’m 23, I’m a mature student in my second year studying Zoology at Glasgow Uni, and I’m looking for a lovely flatmate to share my home :)

This is my second uni journey and I’ve already done first [and second] year halls and busy student flats. I’m looking for a flatmate who would appreciate living in a relaxed, organised home rather than a student party pad.

There are two of us in the flat already: myself and another lodger. Peace and quiet are important to both of us and we’re not much for wild house parties! It would be lovely to share with someone who enjoys chill nights in with a movie, game or some tunes on. We’re definitely down to have a night out once in a while.

As well as science I love art and music, and you’ll usually find me drawing or painting, mucking about on my piano or bass guitar, or chatting with my friends. I’m not a bad cook either, and I love spending time outdoors. The flat is right beside the Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin Walkway so it’s perfect for that and means you’ll have a fab daily commute to uni!

We’ve got one double bedroom to let out to a student. It will have a double bed, bedside table, desk and chair, chest of drawers and a built in, mirrored wardrobe. The price is £650 per calendar month. Bills are not included; bills include gas, electricity and broadband. Council tax is not a payable cost since the flat is student-only.

Upfront, the flat is in a quiet, residential block and I definitely need a considerate flatmate who’ll treat it, and the neighbours, with respect. I’m not looking for the tidiest person on the planet but it’ll be important for everyone to take their turn with cleaning and tidying common areas and to keep their own space clean and hygienic :)
