Hey! I'm subletting a studio on Thurso Street in Glasgow.
Subletting period: From January 1st, 2026, to the end of August the same year (no short - term rentals).
Subletting price: £289 per week. You'll sign the contract directly with the apartment and pay the rent to them. There's no agency fee, but there's a £50 handling fee that we'll split.
📍Thurso Street (G11 6PE): It's super close to the new building of the business school. You just need to cross the road! It's also really close to Chinese and British supermarkets. It's only a 3 - minute walk to Tangmao Chinese supermarket and Sainsbury's, and an 8 - minute walk to Lidl and Morrison's. There are tons of restaurants around, and the transportation is great. The bus and subway stations are really near. The security in the area is good, so you don't have to worry too much about going out at night. There are 24 - hour staff at the reception, and you can talk to them if there's any problem.
There's a 24 - hour storage room for express deliveries. It's really convenient and safe to pick up and store stuff!
Room details:
It's about 20 square meters, so it's pretty spacious. It's on the 1st floor of Block B, very quiet. The window faces south, so it gets great sunlight during the day.
Since the apartment was just renovated, all the appliances in the room are brand - new (I'm the first one to use them, and I've taken good care of them). You don't have to worry too much about the quality or hygiene. The heating is also good.
(I think it's perfect for one - year master's students starting in spring and pre - degree students, especially since it's really close to the pre - degree classes!)
