This Could Be the Place For You

We are looking for a flatmate! Someone who is in tune with art, fancies music from the electronic musical world to the acoustic folk one. Basically into cultural bliss. Looking for a sociable creature with a heart of gold! We’re also looking for someone who values open communication and sharing household responsibilities.

You'd need to be willing to hang out with 2 students, in their 30s and (oops!) upper 40s from around the planet (usa, france, germany) and a nosy scottish cat. We’re usually quite laid back but our humour can be gross. We love cooking and baking (mainly vegeterian/vegan), with lots of fun things often found fermenting.

Claire: french mexican american mature student studying fine arts photography. She takes a lot of pictures! Spends most of her days going to the studio and coffee shops. In her free time she likes to make nice meals, go to music sessions, watch movies, read and play guitar. She is dating a lovely man named Jamie who lives in Aberdeen and they take turns staying in Glasgow and in Aberdeen every other weekend.

Janin: german musician and phD student working on hearing as perception. She spends most of her days working and then working in the study/playing with roomates. During the weekend and her free time, she enjoys cooking, cycling, making electronic music, gardening and conversations with her cat. She is all about the DYI and creative endeavors.

We both love planning dinners, cooking while drinking wine, playing board games, talking art and politics as well as doing yoga. Our home is special to us. We want to feel comfortable in it and we don’t like drama. We are looking for open minded people, that like clean but lived in and cosy spaces that want to chill and enjoy life.

THE ESSENTIALS:
-flat is in ibrox (edge of Govan) 2 mins walk from subway, 15-20 mins bicycle ride to town and southisde
-rent w/o bills £290 (this includes internet)
-as two students we don’t pay council tax
-2nd floor. Only access is by stairs and the landlord does not bother filing housing benefits.
-next to the usual kitchen 'n' bathroom, we share a large living room and a study. There's also a shared back garden.
-Flatmates are your average queer-friendly sort of cis female types, but not too stoked about living with anyone who embodies or is pro gender stereotypes.

Note: as long as you are a respectful, kind individual, that takes the initative to clean/pull their weight in the flat, age doesn’t matter to us
