Perfect accommodation for someone working away from home as generally available Mondays (or Sunday night) to Fridays only. Private, quiet and peaceful location in beautiful home shared with the owner who works from home most of the time.

The house is Council tax band G and only available to people who would not use it as their main residence; in other words, who are visiting for work and have a main address elsewhere where they already pay council tax. If you are travelling from afar or working the weekends you would be welcome to stay the weekends. If you message, please do explain your situation. Due to the volume of interest, I will not respond unless you explain how you would fit my unusual requirements.

You have the use of a spacious lounge, beautiful garden room and large kitchen/utility/diner. Parking and Wi-Fi included, and all bills.

This ensuite room has an oversized window, king-sized bed, mirrored fitted wardrobe, and large chest of drawers. It has the perfect amount of storage for someone working away from home. In the past medics working at Hairmyres for short term contracts have stayed as well as others needing a base away from their home.

Part of a two year old 5-bedroom 4-bathroom home in a development of similar houses in peaceful Jackton, it is convenient for Hairmyres, East Kilbride and further afield via the M77.

There is a friendly 3-year-old hypoallergenic pedigree cat also living here you would have to be able to tolerate, so not suitable for anyone who dislikes cats or is severely allergic.

The owner has asthma and is extremely sensitive to vape fumes and cigarette smoke, so this home is not suitable for smokers or vapers.

As this house is over an hour using public transport from the Glasgow universities, this house would not be suitable for students or anyone relying on public transport to get to central Glasgow.
