Double ensuite room in luxury Jackton home

STUDENTS- please note this is at least an hour from the universities by public transport, so not generally suitable.

Perfect accommodation for someone working away from home as generally available Mondays (or Sunday night) to Fridays only. Private, quiet and peaceful location in beautiful home shared with the owner who works from home most of the time, two cats and one other lodger who is working or living away most of the time.

The house is council tax band G and only available to people who would not use it as their main residence; in other words, who are visiting for work and have a main address elsewhere where they already pay council tax. If you are travelling from overseas or working the weekends you would be welcome to stay the weekends, please just explain your situation.

You have the use of a spacious lounge, beautiful garden room and large kitchen/utility/diner. Parking and wifi included, and all bills.

This ensuite room has an oversized window, king-sized bed, mirrored fitted wardrobe, desk, bedside tables and large chest of drawers. It has more than ample amount of storage for someone working away from home. In the past medics working at Hairmyres for short term contracts have stayed as well as others needing a base away from their home.

Part of an exclusive 5 bedroom 4 bathroom home in a development of similar houses in peaceful Jackton, convenient for Hairmyres, East Kilbride and further afield via the M77.

There are friendly 4 year old and 3 month old hypoallergenic pedigree cats also living here you would have to be able to tolerate, so not suitable for anyone who dislikes cats (or kittens!) or is severely allergic.

The owner has asthma and is extremely sensitive to vape fumes and cigarette smoke, so this home is not suitable for smokers or vapers.

As this house is over an hour using public transport from the Glasgow universities, this house would not be suitable for students or anyone relying on public transport to get to central Glasgow.

As I work from home I would prefer someone who is working outside of the home and treating the room like somewhere to stay overnight rather than a home. I am used to having lots of guests like this, and enjoy the variety of hosting and meeting new people.
