It is in a village north of Glasgow and suits one independent person comfortable with a semi-rural lifestyle. You will most likely want to have a car here.
My home has a spacious and comfortable double bedroom available for sole use. There is a modern stylish bathroom with freestanding bath & rainfall shower, and a sitting room with garden view/access next to the bedroom for your use as well. This area is separate from the part of the house I live in so you will have privacy.
There is a shared dining kitchen. The garden sitting room has a microwave so you can also cook and eat privately as well. Dish and laundry washing are done in a separate utility room, also shared with me.
The garden is spacious with two seating areas - one with a firepit and one with a table or fire pit (I have a portable one). There are raised beds growing strawberries and some vegetables, and a pond water feature.
There is one off-street parking space for a small/medium vehicle outside if required, and a bus stop a few minutes walk from the house. Buses go to Glasgow and Stirling and connect the local villages.
I am an active independent person with a busy job which involves travel, so I enjoy my quiet personal space when I am at home. Ideally you will be similar. It’s also a very quiet residential area so would suit someone comfortable with that.
The price quoted includes all bills apart from energy use. Energy usage will be shared and paid monthly based on meter readings/bills which will be provided to you.
The area is ideal for someone who enjoys nature and semi-rural/outdoors life, but also needs to be close to the city (Glasgow or Stirling).
The village has an active community and all the essential amenities (supermarket, pharmacy, post office, cafes) and is less than 20 minutes by bus or car to Milngavie which has a busy town centre, several supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
