Description
A bright and nice double bedroom in a shared three bedroom flat. Clean and cosy place with a nice living room with a fireplace and large kitchen, as well as a bathroom with a full bath and electric shower. There is central gas heating and a washing machine in the kitchen. Bills will come to around £45 per person at max during the winter months including Broadband!
The flat is on the second level of a three floor apartment building, with a south facing patio/balcony in front of the entrance which is great for having a smoke or just sitting outside in the sun in summer. Bedrooms face the north so the sun doesnt wake you in the morning though. Very quiet and slow immediate surroundings but just a quick step downhill and you're on Dumbarton Road. There is free parking outside the building and the few streets around.
Partick Subway and Rail Station is only a 10min walk, there is also various bus stops nearby. Closer than that is crow road retail park which has multiple shops and Mcdonalds, less than 5 minutes walk away. There are a lot of Large shops open till late are also just a quick walk, so it's all very convenient.
We are two professionals working full time. We like to spend free time at the gym or recently on holidays too. We have spent a lot of time in Glasgow and so have friend groups here as well so we spend time with them.
We are friends with the neighbor's upstairs and across the way. The area is quite nice. I have lived here over covid as well and its not been a bad place to go through it all. There's plenty of light and and air coming into the flat.
Current flatmate is moving out to live closer to uni - RCS. Nothing is being ended on bad terms.
- Room comes furnished with double bed. Furniture items such as desk are owned by the person moving out. There are a lot of charity furniture shops 5 minutes away where we have all furnished our rooms cheaply. We can help with any moving of furniture
There is a closet built into the wall
There is plenty of room to rearrange, the desk in the picture is deceivingly massive and so takes up a lot of the space. Room 2 and 3 are set up quite differently at the moment even though they are the same size - see floorplan.
