Hello!
I am moving out of my flat later this year, so my flatmate (26) and I (25) are looking for somebody to take over my room within the tenancy from 1st November. My flatmate works Monday to Friday (normal working hours) and so would be looking for someone on a similar schedule. My bedroom is bright, spacious and part furnished (double bed, wardrobe and tall drawers included) with plenty of storage - I would also be happy to leave my chest of drawers behind for free. The flat is very homely and the kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, utensils, appliances etc, you would also have a full cupboard to yourself for food. There is a washing machine, dishwasher and two fridge freezers.
The flat is in Partick so transport links are amazing - the subway and train station are a ten minute walk away (then a 5 minute train from here to Central / Queen Street). There is a retail park with Boots, Sainsbury’s, M&S and Superdrug a five minute walk away. If you have a car there is also free on-street parking, two lovely parks nearby, a small garden at the back, and the flat is a few minutes drive from the motorway so easy to jump on there and get around Glasgow. The flat is top floor so incredibly quiet, and no noise from any of the neighbours either. Bills are £619.34pm (this includes everything, Council Tax is Band C), and you would need to pay half of the deposit which would be a total of £512.50.
We are sociable, easygoing and friendly so we would be looking for somebody who is similar, who can also respect when you need your own space. My flatmate and I enjoy relaxing, seeing friends at the weekend and we like a quiet home, so would be looking for someone who sees the flat as a place to chill out as oppose to having people over late etc. It would also be important that the person who moves in is clean and tidy, and respectful of the shared living space. It is a gorgeous flat and very modern, I have lived here for two and a half years so very sad to be leaving and my flatmate is the loveliest, kindest person - if you think you sound similar to us please pop me a message, or if you have any questions just ask away!
