Description
We, Angelina and Gabriel, are currently looking for a new third flatmate to move in with us ASAP. :) We live in the West End, Partick, a walking distance from Partick train/subway station and very close to plenty of restaurants, cafeterias, and big and small supermarkets. Glasgow University is also a walking distance away (approx. 20 minutes) and less than a 10-minute cycle ride if you're into that like we are :).
The flat is on the second floor, comes fully furnished and your room includes a double bed, a desk, and a big wardrobe.
We are ideally looking for a student, Masters/PhD, aged 25+ or a mature student in the age range, but young professionals are also fine as long as you can afford to pay council tax. We are considering both short and long term stay depending on your situation. :)
Angelina is a 2nd year PhD student at Glasgow University, working in the field of clinical neurology. Originally from Bulgaria, she has previously lived in Glasgow, then moved around, lived in Belgium and the Netherlands, before her PhD eventually brought her back to Scotland. 🙂 She loves all things brain related, is well-traveled, likes hiking, trail running, politics and exploring new places, people, and ways of being. She is vegetarian and loves practising Spanish, which she speaks quite well :)
Gabriel is a mature student studying Earth and Environmental Sciences at Glasgow University. Originally from South Wales, this is his first time living in Scotland but has also lived and worked abroad in a few different countries. He is an outdoorsy person, with a background in water sports but also keen hiker and hoping to make the most of the Scottish mountains. More recently he has become involved with the caving/spelunking society at the University. Gabriel is a life long vegetarian, enjoys cooking and exploring different food options locally.
We're friendly, open-minded and easy-going people (with a touch of madness) who'd like to share with someone similar who'd keep the flat tidy and clean, and ideally like to make friends with us.
We have a weekly cleaning schedule and we stick to it. We are both clean, tidy, and respectful, so we expect our new flatmate to be the same.
If you consider sending a message, please introduce yourself. What do you like? What's your hobbies? What do You value in other people? :)
Price: *550 GBP* a month excluding bills + 12 GBP for broadband if you are a student. Bills are around 30-60 GBP depending on the season. Council tax (band C) applies if you are a young professional.
