Double Bedroom opposite Queens Park

Large bright spacious room with king sized bed in a beautiful historically significant building overlooking Queens Park on Pollokshaws Road. The bedroom is situated at the back of the flat. Flat has two bedrooms, a shared bathroom, generous kitchen-dining room and cosy living room.

The flat also has access to a unique roof terrace with views across the city and to the hills where I have lots of outdoor seating, a BBQ, a fire pit and lots of plants.

It's a queer household 🌈

Flat features washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, large American style fridge, bath, shower.

I am looking for a friendly, tidy flatmate who loves animals. Also in the flat is a small whippet called Wolfgang and so looking for someone comfortable with animals and happy getting involved with the dog and looking after her if I'm away.

I am queer and originally from London but have been here 8 years. I am a theatre director and digital artist. When not in rehearsals I am working from home which the flat is great for, I travel quite a bit for work but post-pandemic much less so! I really enjoy cooking and have people over for dinner quite a bit but most nights me and the dog are snuggled on the couch watching tv.

There is a really friendly community in the building and I know most of the neighbours, it's a very nice block!

The flat is my home and I really love it and am keen to make it feel like home for my flatmate too. I've had amazing relationships with flatmates before and am looking for someone who is open and communicative so we can find a vibe that works for us :)

Were situated on Pollokshaws Road which is 5 minutes from Crossmyloof Station and buses into town go from right outside the front door. Shawlands is a lovely part of the city with lots of independent cafes, restaurants and shops. Queens Park is a beautiful space to spend time in and is directly opposite the flat.

Rent is £650 and includes all bills (council tax, internet, gas, electricity) it also includes an amazing cleaner who comes to clean the flat once every fortnight.

Looking for someone confident with animals and experience living with them. Looking for a flatmate happy to look after the dog if you are in and I am out :) Happy to answer any questions and send more photos as well if useful!

The room has a bed and a clothes rail but not much else so good for someone with their own furniture or looking to make their own nest!

Would suit someone who also works from home as its nice to have other folk about and also the dog loves the company during the day!
