Hello!

I am looking for someone to come and take the 2nd bedroom in my new flat in Shawlands. The flat is on the top floor corner position of a lovely tenement building, just of Tantalon Road.

The bedroom is huge, filled with light throughout the day and is not overlooked so it feels really private and peaceful. It is It is furnished, coming with a double bed, triple wardrobe, desk, chair, mirror, rug.
There is a shared living room with dining area which gets incredible sun in the evenings, and basically overlooks the whole of Shawlands. Then there is also as a massive separate kitchen/dining room (currently being painted, photos to come once finished.)
I am still in the process of doing the place up/furnishing so photos are still WIP of the flat, but it should be ready for you to move in to by early August.

About me - I am a 30 year old freelance fashion designer, originally from Glasgow, and have been living in London/down South for the last 10 years. I have spent all of my adult life in house shares, so I am looking forward to sharing the space again (and the flat Is too big for just me!)
I'm really friendly and relaxed to live with and am looking for someone on a similar level. I will be spending a lot of my time staying in London where my work is based at the moment, so you will ultimately have the entire place to yourself much of the time. I'm ideally looking for someone trustworthy and responsible, who can look after the place while I'm away, but that I get along well with when I'm back at home.

Ideally I'm looking for a shorter term tenant (3-6 months) as further work to the flat will be needed at some point. But I am also open to longer term. Really it's most important I find the right person. There will be a contract prior to moving in, and a £400 deposit.

Bills are not included in the price. These are TBC but will likely come out at around £150 each for council tax, elec, water, broadband. Unfortunately I can't offer a discount for students.
