Room available in bright leafy Shawlands flat

So I always find writing these things vaguely painful, and I only have experience looking for rooms not advertising them, so apologies for any mistakes!

The room is large, well lit, and comes furnished with all the standard things (double bed, dresser, wardrobe, mirror, desk, two weird chairs).

As you can see in the pictures, there's a kitchen and a bathroom, and there's a large living room with a big sofa etcetera. I'm a non-smoker, bills and council tax (Band C) are around £120/mo, less if you're a student as I'm a student too. The letting agents are a little uptight, they might do a background check and ask for proof of employment/past landlord references too, I'm not sure. Move in date is ideally the 12th of August, but this is negotiable - and I'm aware it's short notice so I'd be happy to do something a bit later for the right person.

As mentioned, I'm a mature student, and I'm going to be returning studying Philosophy and Computing Science full time at Glasgow University, and working at an internship/in a cafe over summer. I'm into cooking, specifically Italian and Chinese, weirdo music, and the other standard things, hanging out, going to the pub etc. Ideally, I'm looking for someone sociable, I enjoy sharing meals, having people over and would like this to continue. Which isn't to say this will be a party flat, however I'm looking for someone who's interested in making this a homely, friendly place, rather than someone who will spend all their time in their room.

More than happy to do viewings, meet for a coffee/pint, and can do virtual viewings if necessary! I'm planning on doing viewings next weekend/beginning of following week. Although, as mentioned I know this is pretty short notice so I'm happy to accommodate anyone's schedule!
