Hello!

My current flatmate is moving out, and so I will have a double room in my tenement flat in Shawlands available from 24th July. The room is nicely furnished, with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The dimensions of the room are approximately 4.6m x 2.7m. Note - the photos of the room were taken prior to my current flatmate moving in and furnishing with their things, and is what the room will look like once they have moved out.

£780 pcm, which includes all bills:

- Council tax - band D
- Internet
- Energy bills (on a reasonable use basis).

A deposit of £780 (one month's rent) will be required, as well as proof of employment.

About the flat:

The rest of the flat is spacious, with a large kitchen and dining room, separate living room, one shared bathroom and utility room equipped with a washing machine.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven and (of course) an air-fryer! The fridge is large and there is plenty of cupboard space. There is also a dishwasher.

The bathroom has a combined bath and shower.

The living room is bright with a pleasant view onto the street.

There is a communal courtyard to the rear of the building, which is mainly used by residents for drying clothes on the washing lines.

In terms of location, the flat is extremely well-located to various cafes, and Crossmyloof train station is only a 3 minute walk away - with regular trains providing a fast route into the city centre (6 to 7 minute train journey).

If you have a car, there is lots of free on-street parking surrounding the flat - you’ll never have to park more than a few minutes away!

About me:

I work as a consultant engineer in Glasgow city centre. I tend to work 2 days in the office per week, and work from home the other days. Outside of work, I enjoy running and training in the gym. I enjoy doing parkrun, and also the odd hillwalk. I also enjoy watching football and Netflix etc.
