I have a double room available in my tenement flat in Shawlands. The room is nicely furnished, with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The dimensions of the room are approximately 4.6m x 2.7m.
£750 pcm, which includes all bills:
- Council tax - band D
- Internet
- Energy bills (on a reasonable use basis).
A deposit of £750 (one month's rent) will be required, as well as proof of employment.
About the flat:
The rest of the flat is spacious, with a large kitchen and dining room, separate living room, one shared bathroom and utility room equipped with a washing machine.
The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven and (of course) an air-fryer! The fridge is large and there is plenty of cupboard space. There is also a dishwasher.
The bathroom has a combined bath and shower.
The living room is bright with a pleasant view onto the street.
There is a communal courtyard to the rear of the building, which is mainly used by residents for drying clothes on the washing lines.
In terms of location, the flat is extremely well-located to various cafes, and Crossmyloof train station is only a 3 minute walk away - with regular trains providing a fast route into the city centre (6 to 7 minute train journey).
If you have a car, there is lots of free on-street parking surrounding the flat - you’ll never have to park more than a few minutes away!
About me:
I work as a consultant engineer in Glasgow city centre. I tend to work 2 days in the office per week, and work from home the other days. Outside of work, I enjoy running and training in the gym. I enjoy doing parkrun, and also the odd hillwalk. I also enjoy watching football and Netflix etc.
