Hello! I'm looking for a flatmate to join me in my lovely flat in Shawlands.
A bit about the flat:
Rent - £437.5/month
Current Bills including energy/electric, internet, and council tax (band E) - £178/month
Total - £615.5/month
Bedroom - a double room with a large built in wardrobe and extra storage closet (with boiler inside). The bedroom is unfurnished, but the rest of the flat has furnishings!
Bathroom - spacious bathtub and electric shower with brand new sink and toilet. My room has an en-suite so the bathroom would be mostly yours
Living/Dining Room - open plan between the two. The living room is furnished with a couch and chair (both reclining!) Some shelving and a tv with chromecast. The dining room is furnished with a table that can comfortably fit 6 but can definitely squeeze in more in a pinch
Kitchen - comes with oven, gas hob, full sized fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, and washing machine. I've also got an air fryer that I'm happy to share.
Extra bits - We're on the 2nd floor. There's a good sized storage cupboard in the entrance hallway that we can share. All the windows are doubly glazed and the flat is honestly really nice and warm in the winter months.
The flat comes with a car park that's free to use. It's right next to a bus stop and Pollokshaws East train station, both of which can get you about most of Glasgow very easily. Morrisons, Tesco Express, and Lidl are all less than a 7 min walk from the flat.
My favourite part is the walkable neighbourhood - Shawlands has so many shops, cafes, pubs, events, and parks within minutes of here, but we're also on the quieter side of it so it's easy to get both the bustling and quiet side of Glasgow.

I’d love to find someone that I get on well with naturally and prefer a dynamic where we hang out some nights and have time to ourselves as well. I sometimes have people round and would of course want you to feel comfortable doing the same.
I’m quite creative and social, love a good book, tv/films and theatre and I’m big on travel and getting outdoors when I can. I work as a service designer and am currently working from home most of the time, with the occasional travel for work. I would prefer if you have a job that doesn’t require you to work from home, but I’m open to sorting something out.
