Flatmate wanted for Double room in Shawlands

Hi! My flatmate has gone travelling & I’m looking for someone new to move in anytime between now and the end of January.

The flat a first floor tenement, it’s spacious and comfortable, in a great area and well-connected by public transport. Langside and Pollokshaws East train stations are both about a 7 min walk away. It came unfurnished so you’ll need to furnish your room (a bed & chest of drawers is all it needs, it has a seated area at the bay window and a built in double wardrobe). Your room also has an en-suite shower.

For the rest of the flat, I’ve got all the big things like sofa, TV, etc, but would be nice to do a few charity shop trips & decorate a bit together! The current furnishings are a bit different to the ones in the photos because that furniture belonged to my flatmate.

I’m looking for someone who is happy to do their bit to keep the flat clean and tidy, and cares about making it look & feel homely. At the big age of 28, I enjoy a peaceful home life and need my sleep every night or I turn into a zombie. I generally prefer to socialise outside of the flat and come home to relax, so looking for someone with the same vibe. My standard night is come home from work, have a nap, then put on some TV and make dinner. That said, I’m always up for a chat or a movie night. I have lived with people for many years and I find the best flat-shares happen when I live with someone I can be friends with.

I also love animals and I’m hoping to adopt a cat soon – so ideally you’re someone who’s happy to share a space with a future furry friend! Also, since I haven’t actually got the cat yet I’m happy for a cat owner to move in & I would be a proud co-parent.

Electricity & Gas - £61.50 each per month (doesn’t really change because of the tariff I’m on)
