Description
Hi, I'm LJ. I am looking for someone to share my 3rd floor flat with. I am very quiet and respectful of privacy and looking for a flatmate who appreciates similar lifestyle. In mybdowntime I tend to go wild swimming or off on a road trip somewhere for the day.
Your room, should you choose to accept it once belonged to my daughter who is off at University preparing to tread the boards. It comes fully furnished with a double modern four poster , dressing table integrated double wardrobe and a set of Ikea Hemnez drawers. Theres also the option of a TV and XBox (if you know how to work it?)
She may well return during the holls but we have plans for this.
You would have shared access to the kitchen and complete access to the main bathroom as I have an ensuite in mine.
There's a washer and dryer in the flat and everything you might need in the kitchen.
I think this would particulary suit someone who may be a bit neurodivergent in that it is a bit of a haven from the noise and bussle of the city and working day. It would not be suitable for someone who is a social butterfly or on the party scene- but if your idea of the perfect home is somewhere clean, quiet with a fabulous cook who doesn't mind sharing her evening meals and watching a decent doccumentary or something gripping on Netflix then this may well suit you down to the ground. I also don't mind a bit of socialising and music - just not megga late nights or hellish noise.
My live out partner visits rarely but has contamination OCD, so there are certain practises around hygene that I adhere to- nothing crazy but in my opinion, just common sense and it keeps us well as I suffer from type 1 brittle asthma so keeping the pesky germs at bay is a must- so its a shoes off and hadwashing gaff!
I have one senior British shorthair cat who needs to be an only animal unfortunately. He is pretty chill and enjoys the quiet as much as me apart from the odd 5 minute witching time.
I teach and tutor so there is the odd time that I might have students over nearing exam time which I would always communicate in advance.
On the plus side, with my partner and daughter across the border, I often go to England, so you may well have the flat to yourself on the odd night midweek and some weekends and always during the hollidays. As it gets closer to the summer I tend to spend less time at home.
I've also mentioned in my add that this is an LGBTQI friendly home so would welcome people from the community and they will find this a very accepting household.
