Thornwood Road - Double Room in West End Flat

Hey,

I'm looking for a new room-mate because my current one is moving away. Available is a double bed room in a fully equipped third-floor apartment on a peaceful street, Thornwood road, in the West End. The neighbours and neighbourhood are very quiet and i would like to keep it like that, i. e. no wild overnight parties and so on.

We would share a bathroom, living room, kitchen, and office (generally I don't use it at all, so we can use this room for whatever we decide to do). I like to keep the place looking very clean and tidy, so I am looking for someone who will be on the same wavelength as me.

You can see the entire apartment, including the spare room itself, in the photos. Just a note, the bedding, table and shelves belong to the current tenant. Otherwise, the apartment is fully furnished, e. g. washer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer. The rent does not include all bills. The average rent over the past year was £730 including bills, council tax and high speed internet.

About your flatmate:
I am 34-year old single Christian working at the University of Glasgow (ARC) as Research Associate. I moved here from the Czech Republic in 2023 and have been living in this flat for just over 1 year. I spend most of my time at work, so we would meet rather occasionally during the week. But I am open minded to any kind of fun and I'm not against doing something together.
