Description
Hi! My name is Maggie, and I am one of the current residents of this flat. I am looking for someone to take over my current flatmate's room and move in with my two lovely cats and me!
The flat is on the first floor of a gorgeous old building just off Byres Road. The location is ideal as it is within a five-minute walk of Hillhead subway station and the Botanic Gardens. There are also plenty of bars and cafes nearby, as well as several grocery stores within a short walking distance. It has also been great for me as a postgraduate student at U of G, as all of my classes have been within a 20-minute walk. The landlord is very friendly and lives in the ground-floor flat, so he is easy to reach when needed.
The flat itself has lots of light, gorgeous high ceilings and several historic features that add to its charm. The available room is a spacious double bedroom with an en suite and large south-facing windows. The room is furnished and comes with a double bed and bed frame, two bedside tables, a wardrobe and a bookshelf.
About me!
I am currently finishing up a master's in Psychology at U of G and will be graduating in December! After that point, I will be pursuing employment in my field. I try to keep fairly busy; I enjoy reading, cooking Tex-Mex, keeping active and getting out into nature. My two cats who will be sharing the flat are Cherry and Charles. They are super sweet and mostly keep to themselves, but are easily attracted for company with the use of a Churu :).
I am willing to consider other pets as well as long as they get along with my kitties!
I'm looking for either a mature student or a young professional who is happy to work out a cleaning schedule to ensure a tidy home! I would also love to have a friendly and sociable relationship with a future flatmate while maintaining our own routines :)
