Description

SHORT TERM LET SEP TO END OCT ONLY

The room is 3m x 3.5m and comes with double bed, wardrobe, chair, chest of drawers and a desk with view out into tree tops.

The flat is located on Bank St, which is close to the University, the Westend, Finneston and 30mins walk from the town centre, which is also easy to get to by bus, subway and Nextbike. It's close to a lot of green spaces (Kelvingrove Park, the Kelvin Walkway, the Botanics) and there are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurant and independent shops in the area as well.

The flat comprises of a sitting room (with piano), a kitchen diner, with individual fridges, 2 bedrooms, my home office, a large bathroom and a second additional loo. There is a washing machine, with ample drying space in the bathroom, secure bike storage in a ground floor store and (when its not raining) a decent communal garden in the back.

Parking is a problem around here, so I would not recommend the location for anyone with a car.

Bills - £150 all in per month.

A bit about me - I have worked in Museums for nearly 20yrs, mainly as Designer and now as a Project Manager. I have recently started working for the Science Museum in London. I am currently working from home, due to Covid, but on occasion I will be down in London and so you would have the flat to yourself at times. The flat has just been sold, but I will not be leaving it until the 28th Ocotober, so it is suitable for someone who need a base in order to find permanent accommodation.

I enjoy cooking, swimming, getting out into the countryside, making things and generally pottering around.

I enjoy company in the flat but, like everyone, need my own space at times, so I'm looking for someone who is OK with that. I occasionally have people over but most of my socialising is done outside the flat, and so would appreciate the same from anyone else who lived here. I am pragmatic when it comes to Covid, and hope that we could come up with a mutually agreeable approach to keeping each other safe.

My ideal lodger would be independent, but interested in occasionally sharing meals, a pint, a chat and a bit of a laugh. If a friendship blossomed that would be a bonus.

Please do not hesitate to drop me a line if you want to know more.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Sonja
