I work full time and am generally out most nights at my partners house, which is just around the corner, so you will have access to the living room when wanted. I have two cats, so a pet lover would be appreciated. With the M6 Junction 26 less than 3 miles away and Orrell train station 1 mile away there's a good transport link to anywhere in the North West.
