Double Room, Exclusive Area + Lounge, Bills Inc

IN ADDITION TO THE BEDROOM THERE IS ALSO A LOUNGE THAT IS UNUSED BY ANYBODY ELSE IN THE HOUSE. IT MEASURES AROUND 5M X 4M AND HAS AN HD TV WITH VIRGIN MEDIA, NETFLIX, AND AMAZON PRIME VIDEO.

I have a double room to rent. The house is situated in an upmarket area of Bolton, just 20 yards from Victoria Road (the 3rd most expensive street in the whole of Greater Manchester ― see MEN article). Many of the houses in the surrounding area are mansions in the £1 - £3 million range. People living within a few hundred yards include Peter Kay and the Pataks (curry family).

The house is not one of these mansions. It is a large, 5 bedroom semi-detached house. £50,000 has just been spent refurbishing the interior of the house. Almost every room (with the exception of a small downstairs toilet and utility room), has been completely stripped back to the brick and refurbished.

The room measures 3.4m x 2.7m. The room will be furnished according to your taste.

All bills are included with the rent. Bills also include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Virgin high speed internet.

The house boasts a private drive (with parking for up to 4 cars). There is a very large garden to the rear of the house with a raised BBQ area/patio, plus a fish pond.

There are 4 lounges/communal areas in the house. As there will be a maximum of 4 people in the house, IN ADDITION TO YOUR BEDROOM, THERE WILL ALWAYS ALSO BE ANOTHER ROOM WHERE YOU CAN RELAX.

PIANO ROOM ― Relaxing rooms with Yamaha grand piano, antiques, limestone fireplace, and wood floor.

LOUNGE ― Large room with leather sofa and chair, fireplace, and 4K TV.

HALL ― Features a massive stained glass entrance and wood panel walls.

DINING ROOM ― Large, brand new oak table with 6 oak/leather chairs.

KITCHEN ― Brand new Copperbridge kitchen with solid oak worktop, Cooke and Lewis oven and induction hob, and Beko dishwasher.

CINEMA ROOM ― 55 inch wall mounted 4K TV.

BATHROOM ― Features a walk in shower, stone floor tiles, floor to ceiling stone wall tiles.

I don’t mind smokers so long as you smoke in the garden. There is no smoking inside the house.

I own 4 travel websites (Dubai, Bermuda, Kiev, NW England). I’m usually abroad one week a month.

If you don’t have a car, I don’t mind giving you a lift on our weekly shop at ASDA, Middlebrook.

There is a great pub just 4 minutes walk from the house (Victoria Inn ― aka Fanny’s). Doffocker Lodge, a nature reserve, is a similar distance.

Lostock Train Station is exactly 1 mile from the house. There are regular trains to Manchester, Blackpool, Manchester Airport, Preston etc from here. There is also a free park and ride car park at the station.

Buses within easy walking distance include the 575 (Bolton/Wigan) , 574 (Bolton/Middlebrook), and 126 (Bolton/Chorley/Preston).
