I have a room available in a semi-detached house in a quiet area of Clitheroe. There would be shared access to the main bathroom, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/diner, downstairs WC, and a large garden with plenty of seating.
The house is located on a fairly new estate on the outskirts of Clitheroe, but is within walking distance of the centre. The estate is fairly quiet with minimal traffic passing the house. Being on the edge of the town, the estate is next to fields and a brook which can be accessed directly from the estate by public footpaths.
The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, wardrobe, desk, and fridge. Connection to Sky can be arranged. The room is carpeted, and has blinds (curtains, can be provided if desired).
The lounge is to the rear of the house and opens directly into the garden. It includes a seating area, dining table, and a large TV (with Sky, including movies, and access to various streaming services).
There is fast fibre broadband throughout the house. All bills are included unless high electric usage is expected, such as an electric car (when a small contribution to the energy bills would be expected).
I have two small dogs (a 4 year old and a 13 year old.), so I am looking for a dog lover. They are very friendly, like to snuggle, and the younger loves to play.
The garden has various seating areas (one covered), a summer house, a fish pond, and a BBQ.
I am looking for someone who would fit in with my quiet lifestyle, would treat the house, me, and the neighbours with respect, and generally be friendly and reliable. There is one resident/owner and a friend. A housemate is welcome to keep themselves to themselves, or be as sociable as they like.
