About the house:
I have a large double room available in my spacious but cosy home. The room is furnished with double bed, large wardrobe, desk and wall mounted TV. The house is part of a barn conversion so has original beams and great views of the surrounding hills. The house has three floors: my room and en suite is on the top floor; there’s the spare room, office and main bathroom on the second floor and the ground floor comprises a living/dining room and separate kitchen. Outside there is a large private driveway with space for 3 cars but no garden.

About the location:
🚗 The public transport links are poor so a car is essential to enjoy the location. It’s around a 45 minute drive into Manchester City Centre or Preston. 25 mins to Burnley or Rochdale. Easy access to motorways.
🍃 There’s beautiful moorland, woodland and waterfalls just a short walk from the house.
☕️ It’s a 5 minute walk to The Drop Off - a brilliant cafe and event space that host yoga workshops, live music and craft markets. They also have a co-working space available.
🛍️ Edenfield has a bakery, corner shop, butcher, takeaway and pharmacy. Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall are a 5 min drive away and have large supermarkets, bars, restaurants, T K Max etc.

About Me:
I have two jobs in cultural education and run a small charity so I spend a lot of time working - including regularly working from home. When I’m not working I enjoy keeping fit with hiking, fell running, boxing and going to the gym. I’m a sociable introvert, so I’m happy to share some meals and go out for a drink/hike together (if you’d like to do those things) but I also enjoy having quiet time in my own room. I’m an LGBT+ ally and have a good awareness of neurodiversity. Looking for someone who enjoys living in a quiet, tidy, drama free home.
