Quiet Double Room near Lancaster University

Bright furnished double room in a quiet, comfortable bungalow in Galgate, with all bills included and shared use of the living areas and south-facing garden.

Lancaster University is around a 30-minute walk or 15-minute cycle away. With regular buses from the main road (5 minutes' walk), Lancaster city centre and the hospital are also easily accessible, and Junction 33 of the M6 is about 5 minutes away.

The room is comfortable and furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and desk. There's a lovely south-facing back garden and secure garage space for a bike.

I'm a live-in landlord that recently finished a PhD and have successfully let the room to PhD students, postdocs and NHS staff for most of the past four years. I've travelled and worked overseas and nowadays enjoy a fairly quiet home, although I'm always happy to chat.

I'm looking for an easy-going, considerate person with a similar outlook who would enjoy a relaxed and comfortable place to live. I'm clean and tidy without being obsessive, and appreciate a laugh and some company as much as a bit of peace and quiet.
