I am the landlord of a property, looking for 1 student to join my son in a house-share for the 2024/25 academic year (available from 21st September). Start and finish dates are negotiable.

The property is a 3-bedroomed detached house in a quiet, modern estate in Galgate. There is a bus-stop very close by, allowing easy travel into Lancaster city centre or Lancaster University campus. It’s around a 30-minute walk to campus.

The property is furnished and, at first, will only have 2 tenants. Subject to planning permission, another tenant might join later.

The shared facilities include:
• Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin (although this is a shared facility, my son does not usually use it, preferring to use his ensuite shower room).
• Kitchen/diner and utility with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, microwave and ample cupboard space
• Downstairs cloakroom
• Lounge
• Small garden
• EE full-fibre broadband included in the price
• Garage and parking spaces

All bills except Council tax (which should be free for student occupation) included in the price of £500 per month (under £116 per week).

My son will be a 2nd year History student at Lancaster University. He would like to share with someone who is clean and respectful of space.
