Whole flat for rent with stunning sea view in the idyllic Lancashire coastal town of Knott End-on-Sea.

Hi! My name is Azelina, and I'm a young professional who owns a two bedroom flat in Knott End. I recently took a job in Durham, so I'd like to find a lodger. At the minute, I only use the flat at weekends - but I would be a completely live-out landlord for the right lodger. Only one room has a bed, so you won't have a roommate.

I've been trying to rent it out fully-furnished, but my local estate agents keep finding me tenants who want bring in all their own furniture and redecorate. That's why I'm here on Spare Room :)

I'd cover the water and council tax on a three-month contract and the electric is pay-as-you-go. If you're staying longer than six months, you'll cover the water and Council Tax (band B). You'd need to get your own Wifi or dongle.

Knott End is 8 miles from Poulton le Fylde, 15 miles from Lancaster, and 12 miles from Blackpool. There are direct buses to all of these places, and it's a 20 minute drive from Lancaster University. My gorgeous flat is right on the Esplanade and I have such a wonderful view! There's a great local Indian takeaway, as well as a Chinese, two lovely cafes, a great deli and an excellent butchers. You can get your basic groceries at the two local co-ops or the Spa.

My neighbours are almost all retired, so I would need someone quiet who wasn't planning loud parties - preferably a professional, or retiree. No noise after 11 pm, please. No smoking inside, but there is a communal area outside by the garage where you can smoke. Lodgers are welcome to use the garage when I'm not there and there's always free parking available outside the flat on the Esplanade. I don't mind pets providing you are very clean!
