It is always kept very clean as there will only ever be 2 of us sharing which is an added bonus for those seeking some peace and quiet in their down time. Once a week, you need to be able to contribute to keep it clean and tidy.
There are plenty of shops, dentist, doctors and chemist. It is near a bus stop into town which is a short walk and there is plenty of on Street parking.
A little about me...I am originally from the Pendle district but have lived and worked all over the UK and abroad. I have been using this app since 2004, 20 years for finding rentals and 6 years for renting a room out in my own house so I am quite experienced on both sides. My past work was in outdoor pursuits working with children and adults, graphic design, lorry driver, painter and decorator to name a few. My spare time is often spent on the mountains in the Lakes or on a sublime local walk, cycling or sat watching a good film. I am friendly and helpful. I am looking for a clean and tidy person only. must be domesticated to a good level and considerate with other people, Must be In full time work or mature students, not suitable for people working from home or on night shifts. as there may be ongoing home improvements. No smokers/vapours or alcohol related issues. The most important factor when renting a room anywhere is that you will be able to get along with the other occupants with mutual respect.
