Some of the tenants in the flat have refugee status and all are working, mostly in the care, service and restaurant sectors. We currently have tenants from England, Afghanistan, Iraq, Eritrea and India. So we have a pretty international community in the flat and are looking for someone who is attracted to sharing with culturally diverse flat-mates. We also have a couple with a 1-yr old toddler, so there is a nice family atmosphere. Everyone here wants a quiet life and is respectful of each other.
The location could not be better: set back from the road, but literally 1 minute from the railway station, with the city centre just a little further. There is a covered area for bicycles (smokers sit out here). If you have a car you would need to apply for a street parking permit, which is just £25/yr.
There are two full bathrooms, The bedroom offered just now is 11m2 with a built in wardrobe, and is furnished with desk, chair, drawers and a single bed with high quality pocket-sprung mattress.
There are pleasant front and back gardens with benches for all our tenants to enjoy; The lawn is surrounded by bushes and fruit trees, maintained by a professional gardener. This bedroom looks out to the bowling green. The flat benefits from very high levels of thermal and sound insulation (EPC 83=B), central heating with full heating controls, with wifi throughout.
The dining kitchen has lots of storage and preparation space, designed for two to cook at the same time. The flat has two tumble dryers and two washing machines. In addition to the large kitchen there is a good sized living room, with comfy sofas and a TV. There is also a further large living room with an overhead projector for TV and films.
Your rent is fully inclusive of broadband, heating, electric and water, TV licence, council tax and cleaning consumables. Also, the rent for the first two months will only be £450pcm.
