Avaiable from June 24th. This ground floor eight-bedroom shared flat is set within an imposing Victorian mansion (built 1860). The house was converted into flats 30 years ago, and we have recently built this extension

Some of the tenants in the flat have refugee status and are all working, mostly in the care, service and restaurant sectors. We currently have tenants from England Iran, Eritrea, India and El Salvador. So we have a pretty international community in the flat and are looking for someone who is attracted to sharing with culturally diverse flat-mates.

The location could not be better: set back from the road, but literally 1 minute from the railway station, with the city centre just a little further. There is a covered area for bicycles. If you have a car you would need to apply for a street parking permit, which is just £25/yr.

There are two full bathrooms, The bedroom offered just now is good-sized single room (9.5m2) with a built in wardrobe, and is furnished with desk, chair, drawers and bedside table.

There are pleasant front and back gardens with benches for all our tenants to enjoy; The lawn is surrounded by bushes and fruit trees, maintained by a professional gardener. This bedroom looks out to the bowling green. The flat benefits from very high levels of thermal and sound insulation (EPC 83=B), central heating with full heating controls, with wifi throughout.

The dining kitchen has lots of storage and preparation space, designed for two to cook at the same time. The flat has two tumble dryers and two washing machines. In addition to the large kitchen there is a good sized living room, with comfy sofas and a TV.

Your rent is fully inclusive of broadband, heating, electric and water, TV licence, council tax and cleaning consumables.

Please note that the roomis not available for short lets, couples, smokers, pets or full-time students. You will need to be working at least 20hrs/week.
