Spacious and bright double room available

Only for girls or women (female flatmates).

A lovely double room in a house in Lancaster will be available from the end of July 2026.

The room is fully refurbished. It has

- a big king size bed;
- two bedside tables
- a desk
- a chair
- a lamp
- a wardrobe
- a 6 drawers chest
- two blinders

In the kitchen, the tenant can also use a washing machine (once per week), a dishwasher (once per week), a stove, and a small oven. The tenant has also access to a backward and can store luggage in the basement.

The house is located in a strategic area of Lancaster, close to bus stops to Lancaster University, the Lake District and Morecambe. It is:

-Adjacent to Convenience Express (minimarket selling food and several items);

-10 sec. walking to Cohens Chemist, a pharmacy;

-1 min. walking to Esso gas station and Asda Express (food shop);

-5 min. walking to Ryelands Park, a 11,420m² public park;

-3 min. walking to the bus stop from which the buses to Lancaster Bus Terminal leave;

-18 min. walking to Lancaster Bus Terminal from which the buses (N 1A, 1, 100) to Lancaster University leave;

-10 min. walking to Lidle (supermarket) and 12 min. to Sainsbury's (supermarket).

-2 min. walking from the bus stop to Lake District (n 555), a mountainous region, famous for its landscape, including its lakes, coast, and mountains, and home to vibrant communities, diverse wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts.

-10 min. walking to the bus stop (n 100, 1 A) to Morecambe, a charming seaside town in Lancashire, known for its stunning coastal views, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene.

The rent, 520 GBP p. c. m (130 GBP per week), includes the cost of bills, council tax, and wi-fi. The tenant is required to abide the following rules, which will be included in the contract.

The tenant/s must:

-Keep the stairs clean once per week. Other tenants must keep clean the dining and the living room
-Keep clean his/her/their room
-Keep clean the stove and the oven as well as the shelves of the fridge
-Keep clean the table and kitchen top surfaces, dishes, cluttery, microwave plate and pans after cooking and having meals in the dining room and the kitchen;
-Keep clean the toilet, the sink and the shower of the bathroom;
-Keep tide and clean the sofa and wardrobe in the living room.

The following rules must be respected and will be part of the contract. The tenant/s cannot:

-Smoke in the house, front yard and backyard
-Organise parties in the house and in its backyards
-Play or listen to music at high volume
-Making loud noise
-Invite other people to sleep in their room

The tenant/s can:
-Use the microwave and the stove any times he/she/they wants/want
-Use the oven once per week
-Use the washing machine once per week
-Use the toaster any times he/she/wants they want
