Double room in Primrose £75/week

Hello -- one of has tied his little spotted hanky on a stick and has gone off down south this weekend so we're looking for another housemate.

The house is on Primrose, near the Uni of Cumbria and Hodgson's chippy. It's a ten minute walk into town and twenty minutes from the railway station. The bus stop for the Uni is 100yds away or you can cycle there in 25 minutes or so. There's wireless broadband, GCH, and a coal fire. There is a storage space in the cellar where the washer/drier lives, or for your bike or stuff you need storing.

The bathroom is something of a work in progress but it's perfectly usable and is slowly being improved. There are more pictures of the house which I can send to interested parties.

As much as both of us like music it's not really suitable to someone who wants to share the drum n' bass love at 3am on a Tuesday morning.

You'd be sharing with me, a 52-y-o Technical Editor (glorified typesetting, basically), and someone who works for a charity.

Non-smokers only, and I'm afraid no DSS/JSA/HB, nor self-employed people who work full-time from home. I've had experience of this and it sends the fuel bills through the roof.

Although I've put "no pets" we did have a cat here for a few months and that worked quite well, so a cat would be OK.

If you are a couple it would be 90/week.

You must be able to visit the house in person beforehand at some point as it's important we at least have a chat first.
