Single room close to train station, bus and town

Single furnished room in family house. Wifi internet and all bills included. Room has bed, drawers, cabinet, desk/chair, hanging space, radiator and a new window and carpet. House is 5 mins walk to train station, town and bus to universities. Great area for walking/running, backing onto nature reserve. Very friendly family, with lots of experience hosting guests from around the world. If you're super-tidy this house is not for you, but if you are relaxed, and laid back and happy to be in a family atmosphere, you will be made very welcome. We have kids and a gorgeous dog (Jack Russell), but the house is quiet at night and seems to suit students. Nice extras include a piano and a wood-burning stove. Shared bathroom, living areas and kitchen. Central heating. Use of laundry and cooking facilities. Short term let from one to four weeks considered at £100 per week. Ideally we would like to let for a longer period, i. e. an academic term or year. If you have a car you will need to purchase a residents' permit at £40 a year (pro-rata). Please note that the deposit is to secure the room and will be deducted from the first month's rent upon arrival.
