Stylish, comfortable first floor double room available 1 May in gorgeous house full of character with 2 wonderful and considerate female housemates. 1 month minimum term on a rolling contract.

Attractive first floor DOUBLE is a bright south-facing room with vintage wallpaper, vintage oak furniture and sanded floors. It is right next to the bathroom and has had new double glazing and a new high quality mattress.
The house has just been freshly decorated and is a beautiful and inspiring place to live. It is ideal for PROFESSIONALS and POSTGRADS and we welcome international students. The house has a long history of tenants from all over the world. We keep the house very neat and tidy and would expect you to do likewise. Any mature, clean and fairly quiet mature students or professionals will be made very welcome.

I live locally and have good availability to arrange a viewing. A recent tenant said "Thanks for being a lovely landlord. It had been a while since I had one of those. Very refreshing!"

In the rest of the house there is a COSY SHARED LOUNGE with dining table and wood burner, SPACIOUS BATHROOM with separate large bath and shower and a handy SECOND TOILET downstairs.

The house has CENTRAL HEATING and it's a warm cosy house in winter. There is a top quality WASHING MACHINE and state of the art DEHUMIDIFIER for drying clothes and keeping snug in wet winter weather, and for generally maintaining a healthy living environment, (if you don't know Lancaster - yes, it can be damp) and there's a sunny garden to dry clothes on fine days.

Outside, there is a patio area for al fresco dining and bike storage and a flourishing small garden with apples, pears, redcurrants, gooseberries and more.
