We have a huge airy, retro-styled ensuite room with shower, king sized bed, walk in wardrobe, underfloor heating and small landing kitchenette. Near to Morecambe town centre and just 100 yards from the promenade. Located on the 2nd floor, this room has great views of the rooftops of old poulton. The small kitchenette on the landing has a fridge, microwave, toaster and storage unit with crockery etc. Other facilities include high fibre wi-fi, coffee table/lamp for relaxation, a buffet table/chairs positioned to overlook the rooftops of Morecambe, a huge walk-in wardrobe, and bedding if needed (no towels). A further upstairs room is included, currently used as a chillout lounge/ office area with large desk, small sofa, coffee table, TV and stereo unit. Superfast wi-fi is great for home working, study or gaming. Our lodgers will have access to our ground floor family kitchen for cooking, and in the summer we are happy to share our large back yard for sunny breakfasts and alfresco dining. A washing machine is available, located in the cellar.

Space for parking is provided in the designated resident's car park. We can provide you with a visitor permit during your residence with us. The property is exceptionally well connected to the Bay Gateway and M6, and we are serviced with regular buses and trains into historic Lancaster which is just 5 miles away (a 20-minute journey by car/bus, or a 10-minute journey by train).

We are a creative, self-employed, easy-going family household seeking similarly creative, good-humoured, independent and left/green-leaning people to join us in our home. We have previously shared our home with short term lodgers and air BnB guests and particularly enjoy the company of young people hence the stated age preference. Our household consists of myself, a part-time Etsy seller, my husband, a freelance arts administrator/photographer (both in our 60's), our music and film-loving son (27 years), and a rescue cat called Luna. We hope to be acquiring a rescue dog shortly so you will need to be animal friendly!

Whilst we are happy to share our home, and love the company of others, we require our own lounge to ourselves at the end of the day, so want someone who is friendly, respectful and independent.
