2 to 4 Skipton Street comprises four units.
#1 Private Apartment. Double bedroom, private lounge, kitchen & shower-room.
#2 Large double bedroom. King-size bed. Shares a kitchen with room #4.
#3 Double bedroom in attic. It has its own kitchen & shower-room and a small lounge.
*NOTE* only the bedroom door locks. The kitchen & shower-room are technically 'shared space', as nothing stops people coming up to those rooms, but in reality, I've never known it happen.
#4 Double bed in a small bedroom. Very little additional space.
All rooms have TV's. The apartment also has a washing machine & tumble drier. For other rooms, a local launderette will do personal washing at £10 per bag.
The rates shown are for short-term lets (two weeks or less). Rent will be discounted for longer periods.
Due to cost of cleaning etc, a minimum of two nights for room # One & Three, and three nights for room# Two & Four.
The building is situated very close to Morecambe promenade (the apartment & Rooms 2 & 3 have sea views). There is a council car-park less than 100 metres away, which is charged at £3.40 per day (8am to 6pm) or free over-night.
This has been popular with contractors at Heysham Power Station & elsewhere, as well as visitors to Morecambe.
It is a large property on three floors, therefore there are lots of steps. Unfortunately, this means it is not ideal for people who have mobility restrictions.
