Description
Hi, my description is quite specific and straight to the important points, this is to make sure you are clear on what I am looking for in a lodger and for you to decide on if we are an appropriate fit.
You will get to know me on a personal level, I am friendly and kind but I know what I need from you and don't want to waste anyone's time if we are fundamentally different. Hope you can understand that this if for everyone's benefit rather than coming from a place of strictness or a lack of warmth. Having experience living with people before, I don't want to feel taken advantage of or be unhappy and I want the same for anyone living here also.
Council Tax Band A, you will be responsible for paying your share of the council tax, this is not included in the rent price.
I have a large dog. She is very intelligent, so you need to be careful when entering or leaving the house so that she does not escape. No help is needed to walk or feed her but she needs to be the only pet in the home.
Lover of music but considerate of neighbours and you. I mainly work in the evenings and pretty much want to settle down for bed when I get back so I very much value time to myself (and the dog).
Suitable for a person who is happy doing their own thing and leaving me to go about mine. We can eat together on occasion but I am not very organised at doing this for myself so it's better that you don't rely on me to cook for you. Same goes for going out, I would say I am introverted and need time to recharge from social interactions.
The kitchen, bathroom and living area are shared so joint effort with keeping on top of tidying. Want to be able to use the spaces as needed without having to clean up after you first. I cannot afford to fund another person's food and toiletries so we need to agree on paying for our own essentials or work out joint costs on groceries etc so that it is fair for everyone.
No expectations except respect for each other's privacy and personal boundaries as well as honesty.
My landlord will require your references, proof of employment and standard ID checks.
Please get in touch if you're interested and tell me about yourself and what you're looking for.
Thank you,
Charlotte - Tenant
