Double room in Clarendon Park

Double room in a quiet road in Clarendon Park, Leicester. Close to Queen Road shops, bus stops, Victoria Park, the university. Ten minute bike ride to the train station or city centre.

The bedroom has a bed, wardrobe, desk and chair and is the quietest room, at the back of the house, over-looking the back garden.

A parking permit can be obtained from the council, if you have a car.

You'd be sharing a bathroom, kitchen, living room, an office/music room, and a back garden. Smoking outside is fine.

You'd be sharing with just one other person, me! I'm a civil servant, 43 years young :-). At least one night a week I'm in London for work so you'd have the place to yourself quite often. I work from home about 3 days a week usually.

It's important to me that we get along well, as the house is not huge! Ideally looking for a professional or potentially a post-doc or mature student. I'm into music, running, I sing in a band (and have various musical instruments in the house), and follow Leicester City as much as I can. I spend evenings either out and about, or watching films, listening to music or reading. I'm also a history and politics nerd.

It would be nice to live with someone who was up for eating together occasionally (I'm vegetarian but otherwise not very fussy), and who is clean and respectful.

I have lived with other people many times over the years and while I respect other people's space, it's also important for me that we can have the odd chat and get along as housemates.
