A clean and spacious double room, with a new double bed & mattress plus cupboards / wardrobe / desk & chair - additionally with bathroom (toilet, sink, bath) to suit a single professional person needing a weekday ‘bolt hole’. The rooms are situated on the top floor of the house, offering a light, airy, warm and peaceful base.

Included in your monthly rent:
Double room (double bed & mattress) with private bathroom (toilet, sink, bath - no shower on your floor - but access to shower on another floor); Secure, off-road parking space (on private drive); Ample wardrobe & cupboards in your room; Work desk & chair with armchair if needed; Internet TV provided; Super fast fibre wifi; Bills included

If needed, we have lockable garage space for a bicycle etc

A cleaner will visit once a fortnight to keep your room & bathroom in good condition

Also included, access to / fair use of:
Clean & tidy kitchen: oven, microwave, dishwasher & washing up facilities. Also, space in cupboards, fridge & freezer and use of cutlery / crockery etc; Laundry: Washing machine & line drier; Secluded and well maintained garden areas

We are happy to provide duvets, bed linen and towels if necessary.

About us:
We are a busy family of 3 people (2 professional adults in the HE / education sector & 1 teenager) and 2 cats. We can be flexible about what we include / do not include in the monthly rent (for example, weekdays only vs weekdays and weekends)

About you:
You’ll be from a professional background too, and looking for a working week ‘bolt hole’ with a longer duration of stay. You’ll pass our reference / checks, check and sign a fair agreement, pay a deposit - and set up a standing order for payments.

About the location:
The house is Grade II heritage listed, in a peaceful conservation area within the village of Foxton.

The village has two good restaurant-pubs and seasonal attractions such as tennis club meets. Nearby Foxton Locks is a popular tourism spot for all ages, offering insights into England’s past industrial heritage.

Also very near is the desirable town of Market Harborough, offering excellent shopping, food & drink options, and excellent train services to and from London. To the north, Leicester (20 min drive) & further north towards Nottingham. To the west, Birmingham (1 hr drive). To the south Northampton (30 mins drive). To the east, Peterborough (50 min drive).

In addition to excellent train services from Harborough, we are very well placed for important road networks including the M1, M6, A5 and A1.

Both road and rail get us to within an hour from some significant airports (BHX & EMA north - LTN south)
