This is a lovely grade 2 listed building. There are two upstairs mini-apartments and two separate studios in the same grounds. The mini-apartments are entered through the house and the studios each have their own entrances.

Each is more than just a bedsit -large and nicely refurbished. They are clean and comfortable. They each have their own new ensuite toilet and shower, as well as a fridge, microwave, tv, kettle and toaster. There is freezer access in the utility room. There are plenty of power sockets and broadband/WiFi reaches everywhere in the complex.

The house is centrally heated, but the apartments all have their own additional electric night-time storage heaters. All bills are included.

The windows have blinds and each has blackout either in the blinds or the curtains. The house has Wi-Fi linked smoke-detectors and a burglar alarm covers the whole house. There are accessible laundry and freezer facilities. One of the studios has its own laundry and freezer.

The landlord lives in but occupies mainly a separate end of the house, loves a lively household although the historic house needs a careful lodger who will look after the room.

Visitors welcome free by arrangement and other bedroom space is available at £25 per night.

The bus stops to Nottingham and Loughborough are each just outside the house but for drivers, there is ample parking space round the house.
