I'm a software engineer in my mid thirties with lots of experience hosting lodgers. I'm renting out my spare room in leafy Knighton - Leicester's historic village area for a minimum of three months.
The house has been newly renovated and your room contains a new 42" TV and super comfy bed, bedside tables and shelving storage. It also has an en-suite with shower and a built-in wardrobe. In addition, you're welcome to use the living room on the first floor, as well as the large kitchen and garden on the ground floor, all of which have also been re-designed and renovated.
The kitchen is large and well-appointed with modern appliances and plenty of storage for your own items and the garden features a large pond, a fig tree and a pergola seating area shaded by grapevines.
Free on-street parking is available right outside the house.
The location of my house is ideal being very close to Leicester city centre with many links to local transport nearby including Leicester Train Station which offers quick and direct links to London st Pancras. Knighton itself is a lovely, safe and welcoming area with its own array of local parks, independent shops and delis which can be mostly found around nearby Allandale Road and Queens Road.
My ideal lodger will be a professional or a PHD student who is respectful and considerate. If you drink wine and you'd like to help me finish making home made wine from the grapevine in the garden, that is a bonus!
