I am a 23 year old full time teacher, looking for a respectful lodger to share my home with. I will only be around at weekends as I live away during the week, meaning you will have the property to yourself on weekdays.
I am offering to cover the cost of bills and council tax (should you be working full-time and not a student) - in exchange, I am looking for a lodger who is clean, well mannered and respectful (preferably vegetarian but this is not essential). You will be responsible for setting up and paying for your own wifi.
You will have a large, private bedroom which is furnished with a double bed (in the process of being replaced), wardrobe, chest of drawers and plenty of room for a desk / separate work area. The bathroom and kitchen have both been refitted in the last two years. There is a good shower, open plan living and dining room and plenty of storage throughout.
Located in LE1 (Leicester city centre next to the town hall), the apartment sits in the ideal location for a student or a professional. The train station is a 10 minute walk away, De Montfort University campus is a 10 minute walk whilst Leicester University is a 20 minute walk through the beautiful and historic New Walk. The apartment is also only 1 minute away from the famous Leicester market and 5 minutes from the Highcross shopping centre.
The apartment is on the second floor at the back of the Courthouse building, giving you genuine privacy and shelter from city life.
Due to being a converted court house, the property contains high ceilings and plenty of space.
Parking onsite is available however this is done through a private company (costing £100 per month or £3 per hour). Alternatively, due to the central location of this property, you can park in the street for free from 6pm - 7:30am.
I am happy to have a professional or student but ask that you are considerate that this is a home. I will ask you to agree to and sign a lodger agreement.
