The house is in good decorative order throughout .
There is a shower, bath, full double glazing, efficient and effective full central heating, a newly refurbished (new floor and units) fitted kitchen, including a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a new oven and a new cooker hob.
Bills are included, and the house has a TV licence and the required gas and electric safety certificates.
There is a small sunny garden with table and chairs and a rotary drier.
The newly refurbished room on offer is for single occupancy. It is upstairs at the back of the house, and has a small double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, wall mirror, bedside cabinet and a small table can be added if required. Shelves will also be added where the incoming tenant wishes. The double glazed window, carpet and radiator are new. The room has a TV socket.
There are two outbuildings (and an outside loo!) for additional storage, each of which will house a push bike.
Communal areas are cleaned once a month, but tenants must contribute to keeping the house clean 'in-between'. The oven and windows are professionally cleaned from time to time. We also employ a gardener as required.
The smoke free home is convenient for bus routes, local shops, the General Hospital, the Royal Infirmary, Leicester and De Montfort Universities, Leicester College and the railway station.
Simon is a long term tenant and is generally around in the day. Simon enjoys pursuing his interests in art, classical music, cooking and making wine - which he willingly shares with fellow tenants. It is very important that you meet and chat to Simon.
Currently, the other (female) tenant works at Tesco.
