Room Available in Oakham

I’m looking for someone to share my two bedroom home in Oakham. I currently live alone and have a spare room available for rent for £380 per calendar month. If you're interested in renting the spare room, please contact me via phone or private message on Spareroom. A reference is not necessary but is definitely appreciated.

The house located in a peaceful neighbourhood a short drive/10 minute walk into town. It’s an ideal location if you work in Rutland or in the neighbouring counties and want to live less than an hour’s drive away.

Ideally, I am looking for someone who is a non-smoker, is moderately tidy and is looking to stay in the property for at least 3 months.

THE HOUSE:

When you first enter the house, you go through a small hallway before entering the living room. The room is setup with TV and there is space to set up a TV box or games console should you wish to.

The kitchen is spacious with a cooking area to the right side of the room and a dining space to the left. There’s plenty of storage room with a large cupboard, a drawer for cutlery and enough spare shelves between us to store our own food and equipment. The washing machine is also in the kitchen, while the clothes dryer is kept is a small locked room outside next to the front door.

The room available for rent is upstairs and fully furnished with a tall set of drawers, a wardrobe and a single drawer divan bed. If you require any additional furniture items such as a desk or want to re-arrange the room in any way, your requests can be easily sorted between us. The bathroom is next to the bedroom. It is a conventional size with a deep bath and an electric shower over and storage provided to keep toiletries.

Available room: 10’9 x 9’1
Kitchen/ Dining room: 18’8 x 8’2.
Bathroom: 7’6 x 5’5.
Living room: 18’7x11’1.

ABOUT ME:

I work locally as an artist at EducationCity, as a result my hobbies are varied and suitably creative. I enjoy my time alone and mostly keep to myself but I am no means anti-social. I’m a social-introvert and enjoy entertaining company and I also like to share any food I make in large batches.

Please note however, I am occasionally involved in different creative projects that require me to engage in long, very animated phone calls/ recording sessions that will go late into the evening (especially during weekends). I these recording sessions/calls are not regular, but regardless I will strive to keep you informed of my schedule in advance.
