There are several supermarkets and petrol stations just outside of the village. Local places to visit include Stoney Cove, Nemo’s Restaurant, Paradise Found Farm, Stanton Lakes and several garden centres.
The well-maintained house features good security, up to date Wi-Fi and various clean spaces including Utility, Conservatory, Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen, quiet South facing private gardens with patio, summer house and fruit trees.
The fully tiled bathroom contains both a bath and over shower with extractor. There is an additional WC closet downstairs in an expansive Utility that has an additional sink, new washing machine, upright fridge, upright freezer and seating stools.
Several personal food storage cupboards are available and a shared Pantry. It is well lit, warm with a good finish. There is a front garden, driveway and parking to the front in addition to on the road. There are front and rear porches for storage of shoes.
The South facing room features two large windows with garden views and black out blinds. It has solid brick walls, three lights, two double sockets and a large thermostatically controlled radiator. There is quality carpeting, wooden skirting and is nicely decorated with coving and neutral colours.
Furnishings are new and include a single bed with underdrawers and a quality mattress; large wardrobe with mirrored doors; wall mirror; wall shelving; TV with satellite connection; desk with marble lamp; and a comfortable office chair.
For the most part, we are a live out Landlady & Landlord but will be there sometimes.
We are seeking one nice natured, professional working, tidy person that we can trust, who will enjoy the tranquil surroundings and is planning to rent the room for the longer term if all goes well.
The offer is for renting a room as a single occupant, no entertaining others and looking after pets. We expect the successful lodger to tidy and clean after themselves.
We will want to know your reason for wanting to move and work status. We will also want to meet you in person and contact referees before offering the room. We can do video call prior to viewing. If offered, we will require a deposit/bond equal to one month rent plus one month rental in advance.
