Our homeowner is offering to share her home for a very affordable price in return for chats, assistance with some household tasks and the knowledge that she is not alone in the home overnight.

This opportunity would suit a mature (not necessarily older) person, interested in academia, medicine and literature. She would like a friendly sharer who is happy to have conversations with her over a cup of tea and watch telly together in an evening. You are expected to do approximately 10 hours a week of companionship for your accommodation.

The homeowner lives with her dog and has a dog walker to help her look after her. The homeowner also employs a gardener, a cleaner and has carers to support her personal care and nutrition needs.

The accommodation is a beautiful home in a sought after location of Leicester City. Accommodation comprises of a private bedroom with ensuite. The other accommodation is shared with the homeowner. You will share the kitchen, lounge, utility room and conservatory areas. There are gardens front and back of the home and off road parking for the homesharer.

All bills (except contribution to the council tax Band G) are included in the weekly fee. Council tax is currently £335.00 per month. Should you not be exempt from paying council tax, you will have to make a contribution toward this bill.

Homeshare Leicestershire manage this Homeshare placement on behalf of the homeowner and will require all applicants to complete a DBS check, references and undertake safeguarding training before the homeshare commences and will remain in contact regularly during the placement to ensure you and the homeowner have a positive experience throughout.
