Bus Numbers 44 and 44A both pass right by us, with buses running every 15 minutes, 7 days a week! The bus route takes you through Welford Road, The Leicester Royal Infirmary, Queens Road, London Road, and even stops right outside Leicester train station.

* South Wigton train station is just a 2min car ride away , making it incredibly convenient to travel to Birmingham, London, and any other cross-country destination without having to go to the main train station.

We welcome anyone who appreciates a warm, great place to live. Our home and this room is definitely a needle in a haystack. We’ve had very happy long-standing tenants. So if you’re seeing this, it’s a rarity.

The large full-size windows in the room face north with the sunrise, providing direct sunlight. Don’t worry: we have beautiful custom-made blackout velvet curtains for when you want to keep the bedroom dark. The room offers a lovely view of our newly renovated and landscaped back garden, which is completely private. Additionally, the room is conveniently located next to the newly renovated, high-spec bathroom with an art deco design.

Our home consists of myself, my disabled mother, and one quiet tenant.

We also have lovely outdoor cats that may visit from time to time, and they are fully spayed and neutered.

We are excited to announce that our kitchen will be undergoing a quick renovation in the upcoming months. This transformation will feature stunning white granite countertops, double the length of what you see now, providing plenty of prep space. The cabinetry will be a new and stunning, complemented by a beautiful five-burner hob and a2 high spec professional ovens. So whether you love to cook or simply want to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or maybe a glass of wine or beer while soaking in the view—this kitchen will be a beautiful space to hang out in! The renovation will only take two days, ensuring minimal disturbance.

There is a den area with a TV and large sliding patio glass doors, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while overlooking the garden. Keep to yourself or have a chat with us. We leave you to it.

It’s important that the renter is sensitive to sharing our home with my mother, for whom I am the primary caretaker. She may be seen in passing, as she is a wonderfully warm-hearted, European lady who enjoys friendly interactions.

When I grew up in our home here, we had six people, and it was easy to share spaces. Now, with only one tenant, our large home is even more spacious. Wow.
